The inaugural Sustainability and Energy Expo was held on April 7th 2017 in Coffman Union from 10am to 5pm. Approximately 200 participants and presenters deliberated on the various topics that were presented to them in the expo. Our keynote speakers, Louis Alemayehu, Ellen Anderson and David Senjem discussed the way they tackled creating an awareness for sustainability from their perspective, adding to the intersection of multiple  disciplines, a goal that was set when the Expo was being organized. The Expo attracted participants and presenters, both graduate and undergraduate students, from a variety of different backgrounds to mingle and network. Presenters were allowed to present the way they wanted to with one of the presenters bringing his own terrarium to the Expo.
